What is wrong with our Goverment TODAY!!!!!!

Let me be the first to say that I agree we needed a change. We need to turn over a new stone and hope that there was something under it that we all so desperately needed. Now saying that...What is wrong with our government today? I mean we as the American people are sitting here struggling to make it day after day why they sit in there nice comfortable chairs things of ridiculous ways of fixing the economy. I guess we should expect that though coming out of Washington with there high salaries and all.

The government is saying we need to be swift and pass a stimulus package to try and help the American people make it through these hard economic times. Who do they think they are fooling all they are doing is helping themselves and any companies that they have ties with stop from going under. They would hate for these big companies to go under because then they would loose all there kickback money or campaign money that they rely on. I hope the Barrack Obama does make a change in the government. The government for once needs to be held accountable.

We are giving billions and billions of money to the banks and credit card company's to try and help free of the credit crisis. Give me a break we knew from the get go that as soon as they got there money they were going hold on to it. Why would companies that are having some many problems collecting money from the consumer be willing to loosen up the credit line and start giving money again. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that. You can't start at the top and hope that the trickle down affect is actually going to work. The stimulus check allot of American received last year was nice but it was way to small. Instead of giving these billions and billions of dollars to the banks and creditors. What they should have done was give the American people more money. I could guarantee that if they would have gave lets say married couple 30,000 and single people 15,000. That we would be in better shape right now economically because people would take money like that and catch up there mortgage payment or there car payment and so on. Before when we got the little checks people weren't spending that money and if they were it wasn't on bills it was on things that they could call their own or they put it back in case something bad happened they had some emergency money.

Then we have the car companies that are crying for a bail out. They should have got what they deserved. For years now the car companies have been getting rich of make high priced junk cars. The car today is junk compared to a few years back. The big three was feeling the crunch from there foreign car companies that they were forgetting about quality. There were just trying to keep up with Toyota's, Honda's and Mitsubishi's. This is were i could get in some major trouble. My thought on this was the government should have let the big 3 fall on their faces and broke the union. The union is whats killing the car companies don't get me wrong they deserve good pay but to be making making that type of money to be sitting home when the plant shuts down for a month or to. What the government and the big 3 should have done was to give people vouchers for 75% of the cost for a new vehicle. Your killing two birds with one stone here.(actually allot more) I we are were to receive vouchers towards getting new cars we would jump at the chance. So the big three would be moving cars in turn creating jobs again because they have to start building new cars again. This time hopefully they become Little more efficient to drive. The other thing it does is helps us with the whole global warming crisis we are in. You would be putting newer more efficient cars on the road and getting rid of the high polluting ones.

Well I'm going to end by saying this was one of my very first blogs. So don't hurt me to bad with the comments. Hope you enjoyed it and i would love to know what other people think.
